So this was an incredible experience. Brother Innes, he has been investigating for like 1.5 years and when i got here he was so against baptism or commitment, but on the right track. Elder Barnett and myself were able to help him get BAPTIZED! It was so cool and he really wanted it on the beach. It felt really good to be able to get in the water, but even better to confirm him a member of this church and give him the gift of the Holy Ghost and confer the priesthood to him and ordain him a priest! It was so cool to be able to change someones life and give them the authority to act in God's name! I'm a part of his line of authority! One that goes all the way back to Jesus Christ! I'm so glad we were able to help him and bring the joy to his family. Next up is his older son, his younger son is a member as well as his wife, his daughter is only 6. That was too cool, so yeah things are great here,
We are on bikes all the time for a few more weeks. We average seeing someone to talk to once every 3~5 miles so its hard to stay motivated. People aren't all that interested but this work is so important and people like Brother Innes make it all worth it, and conference was awesome.
