Dearest family,

I have to say this week has been quite stellar. We have been working with Joseph Jackson (19) for quite some time, and he finally felt ready and was worthy of baptism. We were planning the service for this Saturday but mid week Joseph asked us if Thaddeus Henry(a recent convert of about 3 weeks) could baptize him. We talked with the Bishop and after many a phone call were able to arrange Thaddeus be sustained and receive the Aaronic priesthood at church on Sunday. We had the baptism at 12:30 right after church. Needless to say it all worked out and was worth all the effort. It was truly incredible to see the Gospel at work. I have been extremely blessed to work with such prepared people and be a part of these first steps in their eternal progression. I love God's plan, it's so perfect!

In addition to this beautiful experience, the Lord blessed us even more this week. There is a member of our ward who is from Ghana and he just happened to bring a friend to church yesterday that has been 4 times, and his wife twice, for his baby's blessing. Well this man, Solomon, is also from Ghana. I told him about Brandon's call, and he got so excited, he said he would love it. We talked throughout church and by the time Priesthood came around and we announced Josephs baptism after church, he told the Bishop, in front of the whole Priesthood that he wanted to Join the church, and his baptism wouldn't be to far out! Such a miracle, the Lord is already placing more prepared people in front of us!

And to top it all off the Semi annual mission Christmas party at the beach is today(due to tropical storm Colin last week) so things are going pretty great. Much love an blessings to you all!
