I'm glad you prepared me so well for this whole mission thing now i have to rely on my Heavenly Parents though. It's a change but not to bad of one because you did such a great job. Thank you.
So this week was interesting. Sorry about last week, it was hectic. Anyway, we use to have Elder Barnett, Settle and I together, as well as two sisters in the ward. This transfer the Lord had some big plans for the University Park Ward. Elder Settle got transferred, as expected, but at the last second, both of the sisters did as well and sure enough we received another set of ELDERS in their place. They are both experienced-- one has actually been out longer than Elder Barnett! So the Lord is defiantly hastening the work in the University Park Ward.
i was nervous at first, but soon realized, I've been coasting. Thanks to Brandon's words of encouragement, I have to stepped up my game! I have to get on their levels so we can all be tools for the Mission President and the Lord. I'm ready for that though. I have incredible support from Elder Barnett and the zone leaders, so I'll do it.
Investagators:
Brother Innes- close to baptism he's ready. Should be baptized on April 4th. He's been investigating for a year. He's reading the Book of Mormon and coming to church, so I'm excited
Brother Handy, Jr- Had to push his date back. He knows it's true and wants it but lives in a rough place with a lot of temptation. We will help him get through it though!
The Banerjees (Kuntal and Sona and 4 year old son Romi)- They are from India and met with missionaries before, but just got back from a vacation in India. The previous Missionaries didn't seem to do much, they didn't even know about the Book of Mormon, but we fixed that and they are willing to listen and want to go to church.
Brother Rosario- He loves the gospel, but has to figure out some legal things before baptism, and he's just so busy its hard to ever set a time to see him, we've had to meet him at his work while he's on break a few times.
Those are our investigators. We also talk to everyone we see on the street while biking and such so we have some more potentials, and we will be biking more because we car share with the new Elders now.
I'm doing fantastic, I'm so excited for General Conference. It starts at noon here!!! Thats insane. Anyway I'm excited for Easter as well and can't wait to see what you have in store for me (hint hint I'd like a care package--they're fun haha)
I might send some extra stuff home soon, not sure yet. I'm doing great here and I love you so so much
love
-Elder Ellsworth
