I got the pants, it is so weird having pants that fit again. They actually stay up without a belt! Ii went to Goodwill today. I was going to get pants then you sent me some, as you know, but I was looking for a new suit there and they had 5-10 dollar coats and 3 dollar pants. I found a really nice one and tried it on and it matched and then i realized, the jacket was almost as loose as my current one... so I kept looking and I found one that fit really good and found the exact pants and it was the color I liked and checked the price and... it was $99.99 for the coat! I took it up to the lady and asked if it was right because all the others were $5-$10 and she said yes, and that it wasn't donated so they had a set price or something, (Some stupid reason), but the one good suit I found was the one suit in the whole store that was more than 10 bucks... so I held off. I'lll get one after summer. It was frustrating. The lady said she was going to take a picture and send it to HQ or something because she agreed it was too expensive.
Anyway thanks for the pants. I wish it wasn't so much money, but it is nice to have things that fit.
Who is ready to hear a miracle? Too bad! So this week was pretty good just doing normal missionary stuff and serving and stuff, the norm, then we were asked to give a talk in sacrament meeting so we gladly accepted the call, me more glad than Elder Bischoff and we wrote our talks. While I was on the stand I decided I didn't want to get up and just read to these people. I i decided to just read the scriptures I used and just throw out the rest of the script and it worked. I actually felt good about this talk and everyone came up after and said they enjoyed it and it helped them. I told them about my journey to get on the mission, and being happy through trials on my mission. The spirit was strong and I was able to bear testimony for one of our investigators, who later that same evening, asked if I could baptize him!
His name is Daniel Clark. He went to seminary and is a preacher's son<, and in a quartet that went around singing and teaching at churches. He has had his heart softened so much and his wife loves us and the church, we were able to set baptismal dates with them for the 18th of July (happy birthday Kyle). We might even move that up. Daniel has some health problems but he doesn't let that get him down. I'm so happy we are able to help people receive the gospel. There is nothing that could make this not worth it. The gospel brings the only true happiness, and a mission is set up so you can completely live the gospel for two years, it's a great blessing
Anyway that is a miracle and I love you all, you guys are the best. I'm doing fantastic, keep up the good work!
love,
-Elder Ellsworth
